Germany, Serbia and Ghana. Hmmm, a tough group to be sure, but not tougher than the 2006 world cup which was Brazil, Croatia and Japan. I think we have the mettle to make a top two finish in our group and get into the second round. Could we go further than the 2nd round? I will say yes.
This is me at the last world cup getting ready to watch the Germany vs. Italy match. Obviously the Italians were warned off by my fearsome sign because they didn’t try any dirty tricks until the final.
I love watching the Germans play almost as much as I do the Aussies. I am with you man, I think we will do better than we did in Germany in 06. I just hope the Yanks show all the games !

I Know who took that picture… what a game! I will never forget that.
The group could have been harder (like Portugal, Ivory coast AND Brasil, wow) – I think Australia will have a good chance to reach the next round, of course hopefully as the 2nd behind Germany:-)

There was a Miami Dolphins player who yesterday took an Italian level of dive when nudged by one of the Patriots. You almost never see that in gridiron. Unfortunately I was on my own in a cafe at the time, so my cries of ‘basta!’ were not appreciated.
