It is difficult to expertly express my disappointment over the changes that have been made to the Boy’s Day Out and I think the reasons that I can only write this weak blog post (rather than get to the nuts and bolts of the issue) are the same reasons that this Boy’s Day Out will be completely unlike any of its forebears.

awww. i think the only (or at least, the main) reason girls have been invited along to this particular event is so that everyone gets to say goodbye to Mr N, in the best way our group knows how.
i would imagine the best way to think of it is that it’s not really a BDO, and is instead just a get together of friends who all love each other, and wanna have fun together, regardless of gender.
unfortunately, i think K + I are going to miss the landmark occasion. my blood family called dibs before my chosen family, you see. but we’ll play it by ear.
hope you have a good time regardless. maybe organise another occasion just with your boys?
