I know it seems like I complain a lot about the way things are done here and I also know that from time to time before I left the Land of Milk and Honey, I was also known to express my displeasure at events upon occasion. However, I present to you our landlord’s attempt at replacing the fan in our upstairs bathroom:
Thanks landlord. It’s now only slightly worse than it was before. Can you spot the sticky tape holding it in place; or not holding it in place as the case may be?

You sure he wasn’t trying to enhance your house with a art installation???
….if you didn’t post a pic I think we would all agree that you were simply having a rant, but that is freakin’ stupendous!!!

What’s the bet the fan is facing the wrong way too?

You would have thought he would have at least used duct tape.

You can thank your lucky stars that he was a skillful tradesman. Imagine if he hadn’t known what he was doing.

missing your old landlord from Newtown yet? :p

Duct tape is high end material and seeing as how dodgy these #@$%&%#$ guys are, they would never spring for it.
I miss our Enmore rd landlords and I even miss the evil landlord from Bluecher Strasse in Duesseldorf.
And I do think it is blowing into the bathroom and not out. When you live in a fibro shack with a mud floor and no running water, it must be hard to imagine what the hell you are doing for these crazy foreigners sometimes.

Think yourself lucky. Talking to Bill today he said a friend of his some years ago took up a job in construction in your general area and as part of the deal he was given a fully airconditioned house with fridge, washing machine, dryer and large T.V. Unfortunately this particular area did not have electricty.
